Hidden sugar is everywhere and unfortunatly once we start we crave more and more and more...
It's easy energy for the body sure...but what happens to the rest of that stored energy...hmmmmmm?
Well it stays right where you left it as stored body fat stored energy...waiting for the moment when you stop over indulging in sugar like foods...
Did you ever wonder why you are not seeing gains yet you go to the gym 5 days a week lift hard do cardio yet still you look in the mirror and what?
No change?
Diet.... kids it's the key to success and untill you grab the bull by the horns and get through the rough 4 or so days of desire for those old foods you so liked to indulge in...You will continue to stay where you are or gain..Because energy is energy is energy...We need to eat clean and burn it to lose it...
Fatty acid synthesis happens with a high sugar diet...With increase in glucose and insulin, carb metabolism then is increased and says we don't need energy transfer it's right here in this blast of sugar you just fed me....See where I am going....
It then leads to an excess of acetyl-CoA (the enzyme that plays the intermediary metabolism w Krebs cycle and fatty acid synthesis)
So what's my point?
If you don't reduce this sugar intake you can expect to not be digging into the stores you might be wishing to decrease...
So next time you reach for the sugar products in the grocery store put it back walk over tho the outside isle and get some snap peas or something whole...real...and embrace fresh foods!
