The reality of life is it happens ....We get busy.....We stop at grab n go places...We say we don't have time and then we wake up and realize we do not feel so great!
As a coach I love working with REAL PEOPLE who have real people challenges! Inside there is a person wishing to feel strong and full of energy!
WE NEED TO MOVE OUR BODIES AND WE NEED TO FUEL OUR BODIES WITH GOOD CHOICES!
When people get caught up with life it can be a real challenge.
The farther down the road it feels like there is no hope...But this is the farthest thing from the truth...
There is ALWAYS HOPE and there is ALWAYS a way!
But yoyo diets are not the answer...
Starving or eating the same foods daily is not the answer....
Omitting certain foods is not the answer!
Prepping for a couple of week is key and changing it up just as important!!!
IN all reality we need to learn a lifestyle that allows us to be prepared for life!
Ask yourself ....
Is what I am doing working?
If not then I suggest change it!
Do you have patterns that you keep reverting back to where you do not wish to be?
STOP the mad roller coaster...
Once and for all know that a lifestyle change is needed to make change!
Does this mean you will always be saintly ?
Absolutely not.... but learning to be moderate is key and getting back on the train when one falls off is something we learn to master !
We cannot outrun our forks....and food selection does matter!
Sleep matters...
exercise matters....
But being prepared and trusting that every day counts is important!
My thesis I did in my holistic studies was on healthy aging....It is very interesting to note active aging people who had a good amount of exercise didn't age the same as sedentary poor eating people...
IN fact healthy active individuals eye sight was even better on average..1
No one is saying that we can stop the process...But we sure can slow it and we sure can age with grace and strength..
But we move be prepared for life...We must eat well and MOVE!
It always begins in the mind..
.We must say
I can
I will
I am healthy
I am strong
IN fact I am an ass kicker!
This lovely lady in the pic..Is just 12 weeks in...
She has lost 18.8 lbs and down 12 inches!
We are in the early stages !
Lifestyle changes do not happen over night .
A true change involves a min of 12-14 months of really attempting to make change and longer.
It takes that long to start to truly develop a new mindset...
Very often people stop at 6 months because they feel they have it...but people always benefit from support!
Do you see professional athletes saying they no longer need a coach? Of course not! We all benefit from outside direction! Always!
It is always a good time to set goals, step out of ones box, challenge yourself out of your comfort zone! this is where growth occurs...
Cheers to my client above and we can't wait to reveal her in the summer of 2018! We have som fabulous goals!
Cheers
